Until this morning’s decision to pick Joe Biden as his running mate, I didn’t have a strong opinion either way. I was a big time supporter of Hilary but not so as VP. I’m generally a really nice person. But if I pick up another Marin Independent Journal and read about a local political leader spinelessly endorsing both candidates for office, I’m going to . . . . OK, I won’t. But for god’s sake, what the hell is wrong with our leaders? I thought Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey was uniquely useless but the disease has spread. We should congratulate ourselves. We have successfully created a political establishment that won’t take a stand on anything. Now they can’t even endorse correctly.
